Fun, games, and road rage

Listening to: The club empty out. Whoopers abound.

For once I had an eventful day! After work, Hockey Temper came over to hang out, and we watching the end of The Big Lebowsky. Of course, that inspired us to go out bowling. We went to his house first so he could change and get some bowling coupons. While we were there, we found a coupon for Gameworks and decided to go there first. It was pretty cool, they had a live cover band playing, and tons of video games. We played a racing game with cars that actually move (I got 4th out of about 9). Gameworks is good because there's beer and smoking, while at the same time a bunch of high school chicks walking around. The best of all worlds.

We left there, and Hockey Temper had a change to emerge in full glory. When we were pulling out of the lot, or at least attempting to, there was an Acura ahead of us that was preparing to turn. It kept rolling up a little bit, stopping, rolling up, stopping, waiting for cars to pass that were just barely visible in the distance. When that guy saw a glint of headlight, he'd wait about 30 or 40 seconds for them to pass. Really annoying. Anyway, Hockey Temper doesn't take annoyance well. As soon as the guy pulled out, HT tried to gun around him, but the guy switched to our lane and ran us up onto a curb, then cut in front of us as we tried to straighten out, then switched lanes again when we tried to get around him. HT, by this point, was ready to jump out and pull the guy from the car and beat his ass. That would've been entertaining, but it didn't happen.

After that, a little wheezy was in order on the way to the bowling alley. Once there we bowled a couple frames, HT kicking my ass the first round, me kicking his ass the second (I always suck on the first half of my first game, but usually get better after that). I forget what the first score was, but my second was about 134. Not bad for me.

Then on the way home, HT was fooling with his CDs and drifted into the lane beside us, with a car right there. That guy honked, and HT was once again ticked off. This is why I dubbed him Hockey Temper.

Hockey Tempers seemed to be contagious tonight. When we stopped at a redlighgt the guy in the backseat of the Mustang in front of us was pounding the shit out of the guy in the passenger seat. The whole damn car was rocking, the guy was flailing so hard. They ended up getting on the interstate, but that would have been fun to follow them for awhile.

Anyway, such was myu day. Now for something random:Our store has switched over to Christmas music It's newer stuff by peolpe like The Waitresses and Tom Petty, but still it gets pretty annoying, expecially since there aren't that many newer christmas songs, so we have to listen the list repeat itself like 3 times a day. Anyway, I just have one question. How many songs can there really be that essentially go, "Santa, bring me a man for Christmas." Look performers, there's one thing you should be aware of. Just because he wears a red velvet suit with fur trim and a funky hat, it does not mean Santa is a pimp!

All right, my eyes are drooping and I'm about to pss out, so I should go get to bed now.
