Here's something silly on the checkcard front. Girl checked the bank account yesterday to see if anything funky was going on and there was...there was more money! So she checks the activity, thinking maybe the bank had credited something to our account. Nope, the stupid fucking thief RETURNED something. Who the fuck knows what was going on in their mind? Possible theory: They were trying to get cash, but couldn't get it because they bought it on a check card. So, in order not to look suspicious, they put it back on the card. Or, perhaps, they said they didn't have the card, and the helpful customer service worker was able to put it back on the card with the number showing up on their screen. If so, that must've pissed the dumbass off! Hehe. Now he has no cash, or whatever it was he returned. Haha! Would've paid to show up when they pass out brains, wouldn't it?
Girl was afraid if they could use the card to make returns, they could still use it to make purchases. So she called around and eventually found someone at the bank that could give her some answers and they said that people CAN still make returns on cancelled cards, but that's it. Therefore, all they can do with it now is good. Let's hope they're stupid enough to try it again somewhere else. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised!
